  5. AmiCDROM with a GVP Hostadapter cause a problem:

  7. You can't eject your CD.
  8.  
  9. Why?
  10.  
  11. omniscsi.device (or gvpscsi.device) does only allow an eject, if it is secure.
  12. This means, the motor was turned off (TD_MOTOR). This is not possible with
  13. mechanic eject, but with a motordriven eject, this is possible.
  14. AmiCDROM doesn't care about TD_MOTOR, so ejecting is not possible.

  16. MOff simply sends a TD_MOTOR off message to given device and unit.
  17. TD_EJECT is also sent, but this is not (yet) supported by (omni|gvp)scsi.device.
